Neoprene Bunsen Burner Hose

This 3-foot (0.9m) neoprene tubing hose connects laboratory burners to fuel sources such as liquid propane, butane, or natural gas. It is designed to fit gas inlet connectors with a diameter of 8-10mm, with an inner diameter of approximately 7mm and outer diameter of approximately 12mm at the tube ends. The longer length makes this hose suitable for spread-out laboratory setups. The flexible, resilient neoprene construction works with Bunsen, Tirrill, Meker, and other laboratory burners.

NOTE: Use this hose only in a laboratory setting with a gas jet; never connect it directly to a fuel source. Inspect it before every use and replace it immediately if it has holes, cracks, splits, brittleness, hardening, or brown or black discoloration. Keep the hose away from open flames and the hot burner barrel, and never force it onto a gas jet or hose barb larger than 10 mm. Designed for 8–10 mm connections. Neoprene naturally degrades over time with exposure to heat and gas, and using a damaged hose may create a fire hazard. Recommended replacement: every 3–6 months with regular use.
