This drilled ball set comes in a plastic case with a foam insert and contains two drilled balls each of the following materials: aluminum, brass, cork, lead, steel, and wood. The drilled construction allows the balls to be suspended from a string or rod. The set is well suited for pendulum experiments and can also be used for a variety of other laboratory applications, including density comparisons, specific heat investigations, and materials science demonstrations.
