Aluminum Specific Gravity Cylinder with Hook

This aluminum specific gravity cylinder measures 2 inches (50mm) in length and 0.5 inch (12.5mm) in diameter and includes a top hook. The hook allows the cylinder to be easily lifted from boiling water and massed using a spring scale (sold separately). Tolerances are within ±5% of stated dimensions. Some surface oxidation may occur due to humidity and storage; simply scuff off to restore appearance. Suitable for physics classroom experiments in density investigation, specific gravity, and specific heat exploration.
