This brass specific gravity cylinder features a top hook and measures 2" (50mm) in length and 0.5" (12.5mm) in diameter. The hook allows the cylinder to be easily lifted from boiling water and massed using a spring scale (not included). An instruction manual covering density, specific gravity, and specific heat is included. The cylinder supports a wide range of educational applications including density investigation, specific heat, and specific gravity exploration. Tolerances are within plus or minus 5% of stated dimensions. Some oxidation due to humidity may occur on raw metal; simply scuff to restore appearance.
