Cylindrical Density Bar Set, 12 Materials

This 12-piece cylindrical bars density set includes hardwood, softwood, aluminum, copper, brass, rubber, nylon, Delrin, PVC, glass, acrylic, and Teflon. Each cylinder has the same 0.5-inch (12.5mm) diameter but a different length, demonstrating that density remains constant regardless of sample size. A wooden storage block is included. The set allows students to explore the relationship between density, mass, and volume across metals, plastics, wood, glass, and rubber. A complete manual with density, mass, and volume calculations is included. A balance capable of measuring to tenths of grams and a metric ruler are required but not included.
