Borosilicate Glass Displacement Vessel with Spout, 250mL

This displacement vessel has a 250mL capacity and is manufactured from heavy-duty borosilicate glass. It stands 5.75" tall and 2.7" wide, with a side spout that has a 0.2" opening and a 1" spout length for delivering displaced water into a collecting vessel. Commonly used in specific gravity and density experiments, the vessel is autoclavable and offers superior chemical durability. Borosilicate glass has a low thermal expansion coefficient and can withstand high temperatures and thermal shock. Heat tolerance: strain point 515°C, annealing point 565°C, softening point 820°C.
