Product Description

This 4.25-inch diameter plastic Magdeburg hemisphere set features two tough plastic hemispheres with molded handles, an O-ring seal, and a convenient valve for easy operation and release. The Magdeburg hemispheres demonstrate atmospheric pressure by allowing air to be evacuated from between the hemispheres, creating a strong seal that resists separation. Suitable for physics classroom demonstrations of atmospheric pressure, vacuum, and the historical Magdeburg hemispheres experiment.
