Heavy Duty Perspex Spouting Cylinder, 16" Tall

This heavy-duty spouting cylinder is made from clear Perspex (acrylic) and stands 16 inches tall with a 1.75-inch diameter mouth, mounted on a 4 x 4 inch base. The transparent construction provides a clear view of liquid levels inside the cylinder. Spouting cylinders are used to demonstrate fluid pressure principles, including how pressure varies with depth (hydrostatic pressure) and Torricelli's theorem. Multiple outlet holes at different heights allow students to observe that water exits with greater velocity from lower openings, illustrating the relationship between pressure and depth. There are no graduations on the cylinder. Suitable for physics demonstrations and experiments in fluid mechanics.
