This parallelogram of forces apparatus is used to study the relationship between forces acting at a point. The set includes a board measuring 26" x 20" x 0.5", two pulleys on clamps, iron nickel-plated hangers, and 12 slotted weights weighing 50g each. The board can be mounted on a wall for easy viewing during classroom demonstrations. Students can arrange the pulleys and weights to verify that the resultant of two forces can be determined by the diagonal of the parallelogram formed by the force vectors.
