Copper-Constantan Simple Thermocouple

This Type T thermocouple is comprised of copper and constantan wires. Type T thermocouples offer great repeatability at lower temperatures and are well suited to oxidizing atmospheres. The simple design allows users to demonstrate how electrical potential is generated by temperature differences at the junction of two dissimilar metals. It is suitable for physics and chemistry classroom demonstrations of the Seebeck effect, temperature measurement principles, and thermoelectric phenomena.
