Hollow Glass Prism with Stopper, 1.5 x 1.5"

This hollow glass prism is constructed from glass plates cemented together to form a 38 x 38mm (1.5" x 1.5") right-angle prism, and is supplied with a stopper. The hollow interior can be filled with liquid or gas to vary the refractive index. Well suited to physics classroom experiments on Snell's law of refraction, including quantitative studies of how changing the internal medium alters the angle of refraction. Because the product is designed for educational use, minor cosmetic imperfections may be present that do not affect optical function.
