This right-angled prism measures 2.9 inches (74mm) in length with a 2-inch (50mm) hypotenuse. The prism features highly polished faces and 90 x 45 x 45 degree angles, made from durable polished acrylic.
Right-angled prisms are used for redirecting beams of light at 90 degrees, as retro-reflectors, and for various experiments in optics, light refraction, spectrometry, and wavelength studies. Also useful for photography lighting and distortion effects.
