This Eisco Labs Extra Dense Flint Glass Equilateral Prism measures 48mm × 48mm with a refractive index of 1.62. The higher refractive index of flint glass produces greater dispersion than standard crown glass. Extra dense flint glass separates colors more widely, making spectral lines easier to observe. Suitable for physics classrooms studying the spectrum of light and dispersion.
