Economy Handheld Spectroscope, 24-Pack

This pack of 24 economy spectroscope tubes is designed for classroom use in identifying the constituent wavelengths of visible light. Each spectroscope features a thin slit cap that rotates to produce diffraction patterns in the desired direction, allowing students to view the spectrum of light decomposed by the internal optical grating. Each spectroscope measures 10.25" long with a body diameter of 1" and end diameters of 1.15". The instruments introduce students to properties of visible light and optics, enabling quick identification of spectral components in various light sources.
