The ray box contains a 12V, 20W halogen lamp producing convergent, divergent, or parallel beams, with a triple aperture system for color mixing experiments. Components include slit plates, 8 acrylic prisms and lenses, 3 mirrors, 8 color filters, 8 color cards, and all necessary accessories. A comprehensive manual with 18 activities covers diffraction, reflection, refraction, Snell's law, dispersion, color mixing, concave and convex mirrors and lenses, and vision correction. A 12V DC power supply is required but not included.
