Hartley's Rotatable Optical Disc

Hartley's Rotatable Optical Disc features a 230mm diameter disc graduated from 0 to 360 degrees in 1 degree increments with a center mark, mounted on a stable base. Both the main disc and the lamp house with 12V, 24W bulb rotate freely and can be locked in any position. The lamp house contains a rotatable disc with single, double, triple, and quadruple slits and an adjustable lens carrier producing divergent, parallel, or convergent light beams. Six magnetic optical elements are supplied: 50mm reflection blocks, semicircular, biconvex, biconcave, right-angle prism, and trapezoidal acrylic blocks for refraction studies. Ideal for advanced physics classroom optics experiments demonstrating reflection, refraction, lens behavior, and beam geometry.
