The Eisco Labs Iris Diaphragm is an adjustable optical aperture used to control the amount of ambient light reaching a sensor or specimen for effective imaging in optics experiments. Constructed from quality black metal, the diaphragm has a 3" (75mm) overall diameter and a maximum aperture of 1.25" (30mm). The 2.5" mounting rod gives a 5" total length for easy setup on standard optical benches.
Ideal for physics labs, photography demonstrations, and home optical projects.
