Product Description

This 72" (1.82 meter) metal wave form helix is a sturdy tool for studying wave behavior and wave form. Loops on each end allow the helix to be held and manipulated by two students, and the 0.88" helix diameter provides clear visibility of wave patterns. The helix demonstrates transverse and longitudinal wave propagation, standing waves, reflection, and other wave phenomena in physics classrooms.
