Resonance Apparatus with Metal Stand, 43" Tall

This Resonance Apparatus allows students to determine the speed of sound by investigating the relationship between frequency and wavelength of a pure tone. The graduated acrylic tube measures approximately 40.75 inches tall and 1 inch in diameter. The metal base measures 10 x 11 inches with clampable edges, and the black-coated threaded rod measures approximately 41.75 inches with two ring clamps (1.25 and 3 inch inner diameters). Includes a 3-inch diameter metal vessel connected to a 39.50-inch long rubber tube (5/16-inch inner diameter). The total apparatus stands approximately 43 inches tall. Tuning forks are required but not included. Suitable for physics classroom acoustics experiments.
