Resonant Tuning Fork Pair on Pine Boxes with Mass and Mallet, 440Hz

This set of two steel tuning forks, each tuned to A (440Hz), is mounted on pine resonance boxes that amplify sound output. One fork includes an adjustable mass that can alter its frequency, enabling the creation and observation of beat frequencies and demonstrating sympathetic resonance. Each tuning fork measures 6 inches long by 0.8 inches wide by 0.5 inches deep. The mounting boxes measure 7.5 x 4 x 2.5 inches. A mallet is included. This set is well suited for physics experiments exploring sound wave resonance, interference, and dissonance.
