Electrically Maintained Tuning Fork

This electrically maintained tuning fork is mounted on a sturdy, streamlined base that can be used horizontally or vertically. Steel prongs measure 10 x 25 x 300 mm and vibrate at an accurate frequency of 60 cycles per second. The electromagnet operates on 6 V, and the vibration amplitude can be adjusted by sliding the electromagnet along the prong. Chrome-plated construction ensures durability.
