Force Oscillation and Resonance Demonstration Kit

This Forced Oscillation and Resonance Demonstration Kit demonstrates the principles of resonant vibrations using two weights of different natural frequencies, two cams driven by a 6V motor with speed control, and four springs. The speed control adjusts the frequency of applied force for resonance studies. The apparatus measures 18 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide, and 4 inches long, with a 10 x 7 inch base. The kit includes the apparatus, 2 small (0.4 inch) springs with looped ends, 2 medium (1 inch) springs with looped ends, 1 large (2.5 inch) spring, large (1.5 inch) and smaller (1.25 inch) weights, and an instructional guide.
