This Synchronised Digital Ripple Wave Generator combines a stroboscopic light flash with electronically controlled vertical motion to generate stable, visible ripple patterns on a water surface. The motion and light frequencies operate in fully synchronized fashion, allowing students to observe slow-motion or apparently stationary wave patterns. Frequency is variable from 0.5 Hz to 100 Hz forward and backward via a control knob. Operates on 220/240V at 50/60Hz from the built-in power supply or an external regulated DC supply.
Ideal for physics classroom demonstrations of wave behavior, interference, diffraction, reflection, and refraction in a ripple tank.
