Alnico Horseshoe Magnet, 50 x 12 x 15mm

This Alnico horseshoe magnet measures approximately 50 x 12 x 15mm and is supplied with a keeper bar in a cardboard box. Alnico (aluminum-nickel-cobalt) alloy produces a strong, stable magnetic field that resists demagnetization over time. The horseshoe shape concentrates the magnetic field between the two poles, producing a stronger field in the gap than a bar magnet of equivalent size. The included keeper bridges the poles during storage to maintain magnetic strength. Suitable for physics experiments and demonstrations covering magnetic fields, attraction and repulsion, field mapping, and the properties of permanent magnets.
