This Alnico horseshoe magnet measures approximately 50 x 12 x 15mm and is supplied with a keeper bar in a cardboard box. Alnico (aluminum-nickel-cobalt) alloy produces a strong, stable magnetic field that resists demagnetization over time. The horseshoe shape concentrates the magnetic field between the two poles, producing a stronger field in the gap than a bar magnet of equivalent size. The included keeper bridges the poles during storage to maintain magnetic strength.
