The Eisco Labs 1.5" Alnico Bar Magnet Pair is a set of two grade III Alnico bar magnets supplied with a spacer and keepers to maintain magnetic strength during storage. Each magnet measures 38 x 11 x 6 mm. Alnico magnets retain magnetization well over time and are an excellent choice for physics classroom demonstrations of magnetic poles, attraction and repulsion, and field-line investigations using iron filings.
