Product Description

This pair of Alnico 5 bar magnets is supplied with a keeper for maintaining magnetic strength during storage. Alnico 5 (aluminum-nickel-cobalt alloy) provides extra-strong magnetic performance with excellent temperature stability, retaining its magnetism at higher temperatures than ferrite magnets. Each magnet measures 70mm x 19mm x 5mm. The pair is supplied in a cardboard box. Suitable for physics demonstrations involving magnetic fields, poles, attraction and repulsion, and compass needle deflection.
