Product Description

This U-shaped Alnico magnet has poles spaced 45mm apart and is supplied in a cardboard box. Alnico (aluminum-nickel-cobalt) alloy provides a strong, stable magnetic field with excellent resistance to demagnetization over time. The U-shape concentrates the magnetic field between the two poles, making it useful for physics demonstrations of magnetic field lines, attraction and repulsion, and the interaction between magnets and current-carrying conductors.
