Product Description

This U-form electromagnet comprises a 9 mm diameter soft iron core with two copper wire coils of 0.46 mm diameter wire wound to 250 turns each. It is fitted with two 4 mm sockets for electrical connection and operates on 4 to 6 volts DC. The overall length is 11 cm. The U-form design concentrates the magnetic field between the pole pieces, making it effective for demonstrations of electromagnetic principles, magnetic field strength, and attraction of ferrous materials in physics education.
