4-Plate Magnetic Field Demonstrator Set

This set of four transparent plastic plates is designed to demonstrate magnetic field configurations in one or two dimensions. Each plate measures 153 x 76 x 6 mm and contains a matrix of 98 small circular chambers arranged in a 14 x 7 grid. Each chamber holds an iron rod that functions as a plotting compass, visually aligning with the magnetic field lines when a magnet is brought nearby. The plates can be arranged in multiple configurations, such as a single large two-dimensional surface or as faces of a cube, enabling demonstrations of magnetic field patterns from different perspectives. Their transparent construction also makes them suitable for use on an overhead projector, allowing field patterns to be displayed to an entire classroom. Magnet is not included.
