Product Description

The EISCO Magnetic Field Demonstration Plate is a large transparent plate containing a matrix of small circular chambers, each holding an independently functioning iron rod that acts as a plotting compass. The plate can be placed over magnets to visualize magnetic field patterns. The transparent design makes this plate suitable for use with overhead projectors for classroom-wide viewing. Students can observe how the iron rods align with magnetic field lines from various magnet configurations. An excellent tool for physics classrooms studying magnetism and magnetic fields.
