Product Description
This Magnetizing and Demagnetizing Coil consists of a solenoid wound with insulated copper wire mounted on a base, complete with switch and 4mm terminals. The solenoid measures 155mm long with a 27mm internal diameter. Operating voltage is 6V AC or DC at 3.5A. Magnetizing can be done by AC or DC, while demagnetizing requires AC only. The unit measures 20 x 13 x 8cm.
Supplied with a manual. Suitable for magnetizing and demagnetizing ordinary magnets, iron bars, and strips in physics classroom and laboratory experiments.
