Product Description

This apparatus is used to demonstrate how a current loop generates a magnetic field. It consists of an acrylic hoop 12.7 cm in diameter wrapped with two coils of copper wire, one coil having 5 turns and the other 10. Three binding posts allow connections to 5, 10, or 15 turns. A compass is included for detecting the generated magnetic field.
