Product Description
Product Description
The Eisco Labs Tangent Galvanometer measures electric current by determining the direction and magnitude of the horizontal components of Earth’s magnetic field. Students place the compass with the needle parallel to the coil, pass a current through, and measure the angle of deflection.
This instrument demonstrates the relationship between electric current and magnetic fields. Suitable for physics classrooms studying electromagnetism and Earth’s magnetic field.
