Product Description

This magnetic needle stand features a non-magnetic acrylic pillar with a carbon steel pivot point, mounted on a sturdy base. The stand measures 1.6 inches tall with a 0.7-inch base diameter. Magnetic needle is not included. The acrylic construction ensures the stand does not interfere with magnetic field observations. The carbon steel point allows a magnetic needle to spin freely with minimal friction. Compatible with Eisco magnetic needles in 62mm (PH0817A), 75mm (PH0817B), and 100mm (PH0817C) sizes. Suitable for physics demonstrations and experiments involving magnetism, compass behavior, and magnetic field direction.
