Product Description

This circular copper coil features 94 turns of 1 mm diameter wire mounted on a 10 x 7 inch plastic base. A plastic sheet surrounding the coil provides a surface for mapping magnetic field lines with iron filings, which are not included. Two 4 mm terminals accept banana plugs for convenient electrical connections. The apparatus is designed for electromagnetic field demonstrations in physics classrooms.
