Rotating Magnet for Electromagnetic Induction

This rotating magnet apparatus is designed for exploring Faraday's Law, magnetism, and Lenz's Law in physics classrooms. The apparatus includes a 600-turn solenoid with two 4mm banana plug type terminals and an Alnico magnet (70 x 18mm) on a rotating platform. The rotating magnet creates a time-varying magnetic flux through the solenoid, producing an electromotive force that can be observed with a voltage meter. Alternatively, the solenoid can be powered to create a magnetic field that interacts with the rotating magnet. The apparatus is mounted on a base measuring 7.75" wide and 4.75" long, with a total height of 3.5". Includes an experiment guide. A power supply (2A max), banana plug leads, and a multimeter or plotting voltage probe are required but not included.
