Product Description

This spherical conductor features an 8cm diameter polished brass sphere mounted on an ebonite insulator and metal base. The insulating ebonite stem isolates the sphere from ground, allowing it to hold an electrostatic charge for demonstration purposes. Ideal for physics classroom demonstrations of electrostatics, charge distribution on conductors, induction, and Coulomb's law.
