Product Description

This cylindrical conductor is a brass cylinder measuring 17.5cm long and 8cm in diameter, mounted on an ebonite insulator set on a metal base. The ebonite insulator isolates the brass cylinder electrically from the base, allowing the cylinder to hold and distribute electric charge. Suitable for electrostatics experiments demonstrating charge distribution on conductors, Faraday cage effects, and the relationship between conductor geometry and surface charge density.
