Electroscope Kit with Borosilicate Glass Flasks

This Electroscope Kit provides an effective method for demonstrating and studying electrical charges. It can be used both for detecting the presence of a charge and for determining the relative magnitude of that charge. The kit also supports Faraday's ice pail experiment, which demonstrates the behavior of charges near and inside a conductive object. The kit consists of 2 flask-type electroscopes, 2 discs and terminals, 1 Faraday's ice pail, and 4 foil leaf pairs. The flasks are made of 3.3 borosilicate glass, which is autoclavable and offers superior chemical durability. The borosilicate glass can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks, with heat tolerances including a strain point of 515 °C, annealing point of 565 °C, and softening point of 820 °C.
