Battery Eliminator, 1A

This 1A battery eliminator provides a regulated multi-tap output of 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 9, and 12 volts in both AC and DC, with both available simultaneously. The unit comprises a heavy-duty transformer wound with copper wire and high lamination to minimize losses, and substitutes for a wide variety of batteries including AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V types. Voltage is selected by turning a dial. Plugs into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz, 1A maximum electrical outlet. Suitable for classroom physics and electronics experiments requiring stable low-voltage power.
