Product Description

This clear acrylic light pipe has a 1/2-inch diameter and consists of 2 feet of hard acrylic material with one end coiled to demonstrate end-to-end light transmission, similar to the way fiber optic cable transmits light. The coiled design results in an overall width of approximately 9 inches. The light pipe provides a visible, hands-on demonstration of total internal reflection and light transmission principles, making it a useful tool for physics instruction in the classroom.
