This fixed resistor has a value of 100 Ohms at 5 Watts and is mounted on an ABS box measuring 95 x 70 x 30 mm. It is fitted with 4 mm sockets for straightforward connection to standard laboratory leads and banana plugs.
The compact, self-contained design makes this component suitable for electrical circuit experiments in physics classrooms, including investigations of Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits, and power dissipation.
