This multi-range demonstration meter set is designed to illustrate the working principles of AC and DC ammeters and voltmeters. A magnetically clamped, spring-controlled moving coil movement is housed in a plastic case with Perspex front and rear panels, providing ±2.5% accuracy.
The set includes three interchangeable plastic scales with bold markings, an extended range box covering voltage (DC: 5V, 10V / AC: 10V, 50V, 250V) and current (DC: 10mA, 100mA, 1A, 5A / AC: 1A, 5A), two banana connecting leads, and a selector switch. The meter measures approximately 12 inches wide by 6 inches long by 12.25 inches tall, and includes an instruction manual.
