This 7-decade inductance box is housed in a compact enclosure with dial and knob controls, fitted with 4 mm output sockets for standard laboratory connections. The seven decades provide inductance values from 1 mH up to 10 H in progressively larger steps. The decade ranges are: 1 mH to 10 mH in 1 mH steps, 10 mH to 100 mH in 10 mH steps, 100 mH to 1 H in 100 mH steps, and 1 H to 10 H in 1 H steps. This instrument is used in physics and electrical engineering laboratories for AC circuit experiments, resonance investigations, and inductor characterization.
