Product Description

This 150mm open-type slide-wire rheostat features oxidized constantan wire wound on a 56mm diameter pipe for perfect insulation. The rheostat has 2 ohms resistance with an 8.5A current-carrying capacity. Three 4mm socket terminals are provided for connection, and the supports are made of molded ABS. Suitable for use as a series resistor or potentiometer in physics and electronics laboratory experiments studying variable resistance and current control.
