Newton Color Disc with 6V Motor for Color Mixing

The Newton's Color Disc is a motor-driven demonstration tool that illustrates the concept of color mixing. The disc features seven different color hues arranged in a circular pattern. When spun at high speed, the disc appears to turn white due to persistence of vision blending the colors together, demonstrating that white light is composed of the visible spectrum. The motor-driven design provides more even, effortless rotation compared to hand-driven models, and a control knob regulates the speed of rotation. The disc comes with a mounting bracket and thumbscrew for attaching to support rods up to 12mm in diameter. Disc diameter: 6.75". Motor housing: 4" L x 4.3" W x 3" H.
