This 4.75" tall St. Louis Motor demonstration apparatus illustrates the operating principles of both motors and generators. It consists of a two-pole armature mounted between permanent magnets, with steel supports fixed to a rigid 4" diameter plastic base.
The open design allows students to observe each component in action, clearly showing how a simple DC motor functions. The apparatus operates on 3 to 6V DC. A power supply is not included.
