Product Description

This extra-high-tension (EHT) regulated DC power supply provides a continuously variable output from 100V to 5kV at 3mA, displayed on a 0–5kV digital voltmeter. The EHT circuit is fully floating so either output terminal may be tied to ground for specific applications, and a center-tapped socket delivers ±2.5kV output. An additional pair of 4mm sockets at 19mm spacing supplies 6.3V AC at 2A for filament heating. The supply is housed in a metal case with an illuminated on/off switch, operates on 220/240V AC at 50Hz, and measures 26 x 23 x 11cm. Intended for use by trained instructors in physics teaching laboratories.
