Diffraction Grating Kit (No Base) - Visual Scientifics

This diffraction grating components kit is designed for the Visual Scientifics system and provides the materials needed to explore wave and particle duality by building a spectroscope. The kit is intended for science and physics classrooms, with activities covering approximately 2 to 3 hours. The kit includes a laser, a slide holder, two diffraction gratings (500 lines/mm and 1000 lines/mm), and two Visual Scientifics posts. A laboratory manual and student worksheet are provided with experiments, instructor resources, and lesson-planning support. The activities cover Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards concepts. Note that this kit does not include the Visual Scientifics Magnetic Base (PHVSBASE) or backboard, which are sold separately and required for the included experiments.
