Hooke's Law Kit (No Base) - Visual Scientifics

This Hooke's Law experiment components kit is designed for the Visual Scientifics system and provides the materials needed to study the linear relationship between force and extension in springs. The kit is intended for science and physics classrooms, with activities covering approximately 2 to 3 hours of classroom or laboratory time. The kit includes three springs of different spring constants, nine 10 g masses, a thin bent aluminum rod, a metal ruler with thumbscrews, a hanging hook with pointer for masses, and a support rod. A laboratory manual and student worksheet are provided with experiments, instructor resources, and lesson-planning support. The activities cover Common Core Standards and Next Generation Science Standards concepts. Note that this kit contains experiment components only and does not include the Visual Scientifics Magnetic Base (PHVSBASE), which is sold separately and required for the included experiments.
